DESCRIPTION:The STARS Global Challenge is an annual competition that invites youth ages 13-18 to create multi-media pieces that illustrate an issue and/or propose a solution to a pressing issue in the intersection of science, technology, and society (STARS) to spark meaningful conversations about the future of the globe.The theme for this year is “Intertwined in Global Progress.”---CATEGORIES:(Artists can choose to create works in the following media)
- Digital art
- Traditional art (2D & 3D)
- Photography
- Videography (1 minute max)
- Music/audio (6 minutes max)
- Writing (poetry & prose)---IMPORTANT DATES:Challenge opens: 1/10/2025
Challenge closes: 2/20/2025
Winners announced: 3/20/2025
