The STARS Global Challenge is an annual competition that invites participants ages 13 through 18 to create artistic pieces that explore or propose solutions to pressing issues at the intersection of science, technology, and society.
Science is not created in isolation. It influences culture, policy, identity, and everyday life. Similarily, social values, power structures, and historical context shape the direction of scientific progress.STARS aims to showcase and expand visibility to teen art as a medium for meaningful conversations about the future of the globe, especially during times of political, ethical, and technological uncertainty.
Submissions Start: January 31
Due Date: March 20
Results Released: May 1Only traditional 2D artworks will be accepted this year (this includes art created digitally). The use of AI in generating artistic content for STARS will not be allowed.
