Society, Science, and Technology: “Humanity in a Changing World”Short form: This theme invites artists to explore how our world’s rapid advancements in science and technology are reshaping the very fabric of human society, challenging our understanding of what it means to be human in an ever-evolving world. In this theme, artists should explore the paradoxes brought forth by rapid technological and social changes, questioning how advancements in areas like cybersecurity, virtual reality, and urbanization are redefining human survival, identity, community, and the concept of reality itself.Long form: This theme invites artists to explore the interplay between how our world’s rapid advancements in science and technology are reshaping the very fabric of human society, challenging our norms, ethics, and our understanding of what it means to be human in an ever-evolving world.
